Optics Workshop at Chaya Someswara Swamy Temple The workshop objective is to enjoy and understand optics. You can see the workshop report here.

Registration

Workshop is designed for Physical Science teachers and class 10th students. We can accomodate 40 students and 10 teachers. The teachers can contact CV Hari Krishna or GLN Murthy. Students are to be nominated by teachers themselves, preferably 4 students per schools. NAEST 2017 Mains qualifiers are also invited to register themselves.

Schedule

The registration will start at 9:00AM followed by inuguration session till 10:00AM. Lunch break is from 1:00PM to 2:00PM and valedictory session from 4:30PM to 5:00PM. There will be five technical sessions of one hour each (with two tea breaks of 15 min each). The particpants will do the experiments/demonstrations and discusses results and concepts. The participants will be divided into five groups (8 students, 2 teachers and 1 resource person in each group). In each session, there will be 1 experiment involving measurements, 1 demonstration explaining particular concept and 1 activity of puzzle type.
