Pressure Varies with Column Height
To verify that pressure varies with height of water column.

Make two holes of equal sizes at two different height on the bottle. Place the bottle on the floor and fill it with water. Stream from the lower hole hits the floor far away in comparison to the stream from the upper hole.
Pressure at any level depends on the height of water column above that particular level. Taller is the water column, more would be the pressure. Since water column above the bottom hole is the tallest, water exerts maximum pressure here.
Attach a long tube at the bottom of plastic bottle filled with water. Dangle the open end of the tube one metre below the bottle and note the time the bottle takes empty out. Repeat the same process with the open end dangling half a metre below the water bottle.
